Apart from making iconic wines, Eastview Estate is also the home of Restaurant PINOT, a stylish, sophisticated and relaxed dining experience featuring the very best local produce presented in innovative ways by chef Lyn Dobson. Eastview Estate has a purpose built, state of the art winery, to produce its range of wines and is one of only three vineyards in the New England hand crafting their wines on site. Set in the beautiful Kentucky countryside, Eastview Estate is blessed with extremely good terroir, comparable with Burgundy, it lies at the confluence of the continental and maritime weather patterns, which makes it ideal for the production of premium wines. Eastview Estates altitude assure its cool climate credentials and produce wines of great delicacy, with a fine balance of fruit and acidity. Eastview Estate and restaurant PINOT were built with the aim of providing a venue which provides a rich relaxing, immersive experience, whether it is walking the vines in summer, or curling up on the lounge in front of the fire with a book in winter. It is our aim that a visit to Eastview Estate and restaurant PINOT provides comfort and salves the mind and body after the working week. Our menu is simple yet reflects our desire to provide something different, a new experience for the jaded palate. Fresh produce abounds with New England being a premium producer of agricultural goods. Our menu features the best grass fed beef by Ebor Beef it is hung and aged to perfection, then cut to 50 mm thick and allowed to relax to 25-30mm thick it is then cooked on a searingly hot teppanyaki plate to seal in the juices. It is phenomenal, as is our home smoked Arc-en-ciel trout which is smoked on casuarina and applewood with a honey glaze, this farmed trout but not in the traditional sense, as it is grown out in ponds which are spring stream supplied this results in a fish with firm flesh and a flavour close to the wild trout from this area.
