THE EASTVIEW TEAM
Ultimately as good as we may wish to be, it is the gift of our comrades who work with us which enables Eastview / Pinot to reach it's true potential. If we see further it is because we stand on the shoulders of the many talented people who share our vision. We are gifted the pleasure of working with a number of caring generous people, please take the time to meet them.
Lyn was for fourteen years the payroll manager of Szhwartzkopf Australia but the amalgamation of that company with Henkel Germany saw the company relocate to Melbourne Lyn took the opportunity to join Stephen in establishing Eastview, her drive and ability has provided a foundation for the establishment of restaurant PINOT and the success of this venture is largely up to her vision. lyn also lends a hand in the vines which she refers to as her children.
Before Eastview, Stephen was a world renown cinematographer who had worked as a director of photography on many major films, having worked in Hollywood, Europe and Asia. He was the Director of Photography for special FX and miniatures for the film Moulin Rouge, having recreated the exteriors of Paris in 1896, His love of wine and food led him to study wine science at Charles Sturt University in Wagga, whilst studying he established the Armidale Film School, which is still flourishing, as well as teaching Aboriginal children at risk in locations such as Thursday Island, Port Augusta, Derby, Moree etc. Now happily entrenched as the head winemaker at Eastview Stephen has achieved his ultimate dream.
